Brain.space features its technology to go into practical tests in knowing the microgravity's effects on a person's brain. The company partnered with Axiom Space, particularly with the Axiom-1 mission that will start on April 2, in partnership with NASA.
The mission will focus on private astronauts that will venture to the Space Station by Saturday.
Brain.space is Testing its Tech for Microgravity's Effects on the Brain
Brain.space's Microgravity Helmet will determine what the effects it has on a person's state when put in the extreme situation in space.
Brain.space started its countdown for the upcoming space mission that its technology will participate in, particularly as it joins the upcoming flight of Axiom towards the International Space Station. The helmet that the startup company developed focuses on gathering information on how microgravity affects the brain when put into extreme situations such as this one.
The mission will run from April 2's liftoff to April 8, and the almost six days in the ISS will give comprehensive data from the helmet and experiences of the astronauts while in microgravity. The device will aim to know what it causes to the brain, and it will capture the data in real-time, instead of the tests previously done upon descent to the surface.

NASA, Axiom-1 Mission to Bring Brain.space's Tech
Axiom Space and NASA's partnership focus on the Axiom-1 mission that will head towards the space station with four crew members to travel towards the low-Earth orbit. Axiom brings Michael López-Alegría, Larry Connor, Mark Pathy, and Eytan Stibbe to space and will allow them to stay for several days in the ISS for the duration of their mission.
The crew will also bring Brain.space's technology to monitor their brains.
NASA and the Commercial Missions it Brings
NASA opened the many possibilities for the public to partake in the many missions to space, and it includes one of its programs that focus on commercial companies to feature their technology for assignments. SpaceX and Axiom were among the companies that signed multiple deals with NASA regarding astronaut missions until 2023.
There are many ventures that focus on regular people going to space, and it is in partnership with NASA, particularly with a new move by the company on its features. NASA previously split its Human Exploration leg into different departments that will focus on the many missions of the company, including the upcoming Artemis Moon mission.
Many missions that involve humans going to space are coming, and technology like Brain.space's microgravity studies to determine more of its effects are essential to the future. Axiom-1's mission will provide insight into the many questions that need answers, and the company's technology will bring data from the upcoming trip for better understanding.
