Google Pixel 7 Pro prototype leaked its specifications and a few new exciting details about the next-generation Android flagship mobile device.

The release date for the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro is still a couple of months away from today, but leaks and rumors about the next-gen Google phone have been sprouting like mushrooms.

Now, the latest details on its specifications come out straight from its early prototype, unraveling a few new details about the Pro variant of Pixel 7.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Prototype Leak

In somewhat a Google fashion, the prototype of its upcoming flagship smartphones, the Pixel 7 and the top-notch Pixel 7 Pro have been seen in random places.

It was also the case with the Google Pixel Watch prototype, wherein someone reportedly left it in a restaurant.

However, as per a news story by 9to5 Google, the renowned tech giant behind Pixel devices appears to have tracked down its missing prototypes and went on to wipe down its software.

It should make the leaked prototype unusable in hopes to prevent exposing its full specifications early on far ahead of its debut.

But despite the efforts of Google to wipe out these missing prototypes. One of the owners of the leaked early version of Pixel 7 Pro still found a way to unearth explicit details regarding the upcoming Android phone.

Pixel 7 Pro Leaked Specs

The prototype revealed that the Pixel 7 uses a GS201 chip, which gives us more information about the CPU cores of the upcoming device.

9to5 Google notes that the new Tensor chip is expected to still sport the "4+2+2" design, which first saw the light of day in the first generation of the Google in-house chipset.

To be more precise, it appears that the new Pixel 7 Pro still features four low-end cores, which work in light usage. Aside from that, it also comes with two high-power and two mid-level CPU cores for extreme multitasking or gaming.

The Pixel 7 Pro prototype also disclosed that the upcoming phone comes with a Cirrus Logic CS40L26 chip, which powers the haptics of the Android device.

It also gave us a glimpse of its display.

Samsung Screen on Pixel 7 Pro

The leaked prototype confirms that the new Pixel uses a Samsung S6E3HC4 panel for its display.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, the Samsung display makes the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro significantly brighter. It enables its users to go up to 1,000 nits of brightness, which is best for outdoor use on sunny days.
