The new Insta360 X3's features have been leaked before the gadget's official launch.

For the past few years, the Insta360 (also known as Arashi Vision Inc.) has been developing advanced action cameras, such as 360-degree cams.

The Chinese company is also offering editing software for desktop and mobile devices. Aside from this, it is also manufacturing 180-3D camera devices.

Now, Insta360 is gearing up to launch its new 360-degree action camera. If you are among the interested buyers, here are the gadget's possible functionalities.

According to The Verge's latest report, the new 360-degree action camera of Insta360 will be its first model that won't have the "One" on its product name.

Of course, consumers will definitely focus on its features rather than the sudden branding change. Various WinFuture claimed that it was able to acquire the details about the functionalities of the upcoming Insta360 X3.

One of these is a larger touchscreen display. The source believes this panel will be wider than the one offered by the gadget's predecessor, Insta360 One X2.

On the other hand, a new pre-recorded feature is also expected to be integrated. This alleged enhancement might be quite similar to GoPro's HindSight function.

If this is true, then the Insta360 X3's pre-recorded feature can record video and audio for under 15 to 30 seconds, which will be saved to an SD card after the shutter button is pressed.

Aside from the new pre-recorder and larger touchscreen panel, the upcoming 360-degree action camera may also have a 5.7k resolution, thanks to the updated image sensors.

Insta360 X3's Price, Other Details

Aside from the mentioned features, the new Insta360 X3 is expected to be around $540. 

This was based on the pricing of its predecessors, Insta360 One X and Insta360 One X2, which cost $399.99 and $429.99, respectively. 

Of course, the estimated price will still remain speculation until the action camera developer confirms the product's cost. 

As of press time, the launch of the new X3 model is scheduled to happen this coming Sept. 8.
