Elon Musk is celebrating an achievement with Tesla, particularly with the showcase of its massive electric vehicle, the Tesla Semi, for completing a 500-mile test drive that paraded its capabilities. It only shows that the EV is handling a long-haul drive, one that could help companies and drivers to go non-stop without charging for far locations.

The recent test for the Tesla Semi centered on its extremities, with the company running the vehicle for 500 miles while carrying its full-capacity load of 81,000 pounds in its hauler.

The electric vehicle completed this and showed that it can take a massive load while traveling at the company's advertised range for the cargo hauler.

December Will See Shipments of Tesla Semi Orders

The "beast" from Tesla is also what it shapes to be the future of trucking, with its timeline focusing on a December shipment to initial preorders for the vehicle. Reports claim that the company will begin rolling out these massive vehicles from its factories to its future owners by the coming month, ending the massive delay and wait to use the electric semi-truck from Tesla.

Tesla and its Electric Vehicles

Elon Musk's clean energy company advocates for electric vehicles to rule the streets, and it includes the different cars that travel daily for different needs, may it be for personal or business uses. While Tesla already got personal and family vehicles covered, it still aims to break the market with its Tesla Semi, its dedicated cargo truck, powered by batteries.

Like other EV ventures of the company, the Tesla Semi saw massive delays, as the company previously targeted 2020 and 2021 to be its release for the massive truck.

However, it is only coming out now, for all that preordered from the company for this load-bearing truck powered by clean energy.

Its first client is Pepsi Co., the globally-famous soda company that already applied for licenses to establish its Tesla Semi Megacharger on its facilities for the EV's needs.

Pepsi Co. is only one of the many companies that ordered the Tesla Semi for their electrified cargo movers, one which would change the entire industry as it is possible for a hauler to draw from clean energy. With thousands of semi trucks traveling in the United States daily, the massive use of the electric vehicle that can handle long drives and massive loads can help revolutionize the change to clean power.
