The Verge reported that Microsoft already officially confirmed the upcoming event for its reveal of the Bing AI Search that ChatGPT will power, 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on February 7. Sadly, there will be no live streams available from Microsoft for this showcase, with different media entities already invited to the event via e-mail.

Google Bard vs. Microsoft Bing ChatGPT

The internet company unveiled Google Bard to join alongside its search features, giving users a more conversational experience when looking for something on the web.

This aims to change the status quo about how people use their search engines, with a person-to-machine setup before. Now, it will make it feel more natural, as if speaking with a chat assistant whenever searching for information or data via the web.

AI in Search: Will It be Helpful?

Artificial intelligence developments are all over the place. It is the fast-growing industry in the world due to many releases from different startups and massive corporations aiming to debut a new experience. One of them is OpenAI, best known for the iconic ChatGPT, which centers mostly on text content per the user's requests.

While most systems on AI now are more into content generation and helping people see better usage of a certain product, there are those who want to apply it for their search engines to make it more conversational.

Two companies are on it, and Google has already announced its previously rumored "Apprentice Bard" to deliver this service to the world.

On the other hand, Microsoft's Bing will upgrade its AI search through its partnership with OpenAI, getting the ChatGPT service.

These are already official announcements from these companies, with Google getting ahead of the competition, but Microsoft is already on its heels for Bing's upcoming event.
