Tech titans Zuckerberg and Musk are in a fierce business rivalry that has spilled over into a playground spat, with the two men offering to fight each other in a cage.

No matter how you feel about well-known CEOs like Mark Zuckerberg of Meta or Elon Musk of Tesla, one thing is certain: their views have a significant effect on the technology industry and other domains.

Mark Zuckerberg, renowned for his sophisticated and calm manner, and Elon Musk, known for his honest and direct attitude, have shaped the tech world with their respective companies Tesla and Meta. In the past weeks, the two tech tycoons had a quarrel on social media that led to a proposed MMA cage fight. Eventually, the fight was called off by Zuckerberg, per Bleacher Report. Though, in terms of wealth, Elon Musk beats Zuckerberg.

However, new speech analysis research carried out by online tutoring company Preply has sparked discussion on Elon Musk's intelligence compared to fellow business moguls. According to The Street, the study evaluated several aspects, including critical thinking (the capacity to form arguments, deconstruct, and analyze), contextual relevance (the capacity to link dialogue with broader contexts or integrate insights from other fields), vocabulary breadth (the diversity of words used), sophistication (the complexity of chosen words), textural readability, and depth of ideas.

What's Elon Musk's Intelligence Score?

Elon Musk, who obtained a score of 64 from Preply and is ranked 16th among the tech CEOs examined, received a score of 64. Mark Zuckerberg and the ex-CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, were ranked higher than Musk, who was ranked behind them. The founder of Facebook registered a score of 69.67, ranking 8th on the list.

Demis Hassabis, DeepMind CEO and neurologist earned 87.33 to place first. Below him in the rankings were Steven Schwarzman of Blackstone (74.33), Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway (74), David M. Solomon of Goldman Sachs (71.33), and. Jeff Bezos (71),

Notably, the study also looked at leadership in terms of team-centered communication. The CEO who placed the most emphasis on the team was Karen S. Lynch of CVS Health, who frequently used the pronoun "we" in her executive communications. Scott Kirby of United Airlines, Jim Farley of Ford Motor, James R. Quincey of Coca-Cola, and David Zaslav of Warner Brothers were further leaders who promoted this team-first philosophy.

Tech Firms Exemplify Team-Centered Leadership

Surprisingly, the technology sector shone out for its team-centered leadership when taking into account the full range of industries. Cisco Systems, Apple, OpenAI, Salesforce, and Electronic Arts were among the businesses that exemplified this philosophy, which reflected the tech sector's emphasis on teamwork in the digital era.

The study stresses the value of language as a cultural code and the advantages of linguistic variety for effective communication, especially in leadership posts. You can check the full results on Preply's blog.

Last week, Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X Corp., praised Elon Musk's product oversight and assistance in an interview at the Code Conference in California. In a previous TechTimes report, she also shared a positive outlook about the social media firm's financial success, pointing to the return of 1,500 sponsors in the previous 12 weeks and 90% of the top 100 advertisers as encouraging signs for the future of X (formerly Twitter) under its new brand.
