Ever since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice finished filming back in late 2014, folks have been wondering when they will get the chance to see the first teaser trailer. Several rumors claim it would pop up alongside The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, but that did not pan out.

Other rumors claim the first trailer will show up alongside Jupiter Ascending, but we doubt this will be the case. Jupiter Ascending is not a surefire hit, which means it might not attract the amount of moviegoers Warner Bros. would want to have a first look at Batman and Superman in action.

So, the big question is, when and where will the trailer show up?

Difficult question to answer, but we might just have an idea. At the moment, we can't say when, but we can speculate that it might pop up in the scene during the Super Bowl.

Millions of Americans tune in each year to watch the Super Bowl, and almost all of them are interested in the entertaining advertisements that show up. It is the perfect spot for Warner Bros. to show the world that it means business, and that it is ready to give Marvel a run for its money. It's also the perfect spot to increase interest in a film that has everyone on edge.

Fans of DC are weary of the future since Man of Steel, despite being a box office success, did not resonate well enough with most fans. Furthermore, the casting choice Warner Bros. made in the form of Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot is a problem for many fans, and right now, the studio needs to quell those fears.

It is very possible that Warner Bros. will wait until after the Super Bowl to drop the first trailer since a 30-second advertisement costs well over $4 million. Chances are Warner might not want to pay such a high amount, and could choose to work with the tried and proven marketing tool that is social media.

However, despite the expense, no one can doubt the power of the Super Bowl, so if the guys in expensive suits want Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to earn $2 billion at the box office, they need to dig deep into the money bag and get the trailer up and running before it is too late.

We believe it will happen, but don't take our word for it -- tune in Sunday, Feb. 1, to watch Super Bowl XLIX at 6:30 p.m. EST on NBC and see which movie trailers will get air time. Other movie trailer contenders being talked about include Jurassic World, the fourth Jurassic Park movie, along with Minions, Ted 2, and Terminator: Genisys, the next Terminator movie. Let me know in comments below whether you think the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie trailer will run.
