The latest game, Palworld, is not yet done smashing records in its recent launch in the Xbox Game Pass, with Microsoft declaring the game to be the "biggest third-party launch" on the service. Less than two weeks after its launch, Palworld shattered records and numbers on Steam, the first platform on which the game was made available, putting Pocket Pair, Inc. in the spotlight.

Currently, the game is still in its full launch as the developers claimed that more updates will bring additional experiences, but it is already seeing this much recognition from the industry.

Microsoft Claims Palworld is the 'Biggest Third-Party' Launch on Game Pass

Xbox has a lot of good things to say for Pocket Pair's Palworld, especially as it is now hailed as Game Pass' "biggest third-party" launch on the service in its entire history. Since its addition to the Xbox Game Pass, it added a total of 7,000,000 new players to the game and 7 million copies sold on the Microsoft console.

It is important to note that Palworld is still in its early preview, and the immense success in the gaming world is not yet at its peak.

According to Pocket Pair CEO Takuro Mizobe, this release is only the beginning for the company as more experiences are on the way as Palworld progresses and brings in new content in the future.

Additionally, Palworld celebrated this milestone and said that it has already exceeded a total of 19 million players in the world, combining its Steam and Xbox stats.

In Steam alone, Palworld has already sold 12 million copies to gamers and added 7 million players on Xbox. Even Microsoft's gaming division, Xbox, is impressed with its growth in its two-week run, with massive expectations on how it will fare in the future.

Palworld Craze: Massive Hype and Purchases

Also known as the "Pokemon with guns" game, Palworld has exceeded expectations and established a number of titles that came before it in its early launch period on Steam. First, it offers a unique experience where monsters or creatures roam around in the open-world platform but gives the human avatars a chance to bring guns and join the fight alongside their trusted buddies.

In its early access, the game already saw 300,000 players on Steam, and in its first eight hours of availability, Palworld saw a total of 1 million sold on the platform alone.

After three days, Palworld boasted of its achievement of 4 million copies sold on the platform, now capturing the title for having the most players over at Steam.

With Pocket Pair, Inc. still counting the massive numbers that come in every day, it adds a new achievement to its list after it launched on the Xbox Game Pass platform, which made it available to the console. Now, it has 19 million copies sold after the expansion to Xbox, regarded by Microsoft as its biggest third-party game on the platform.
