David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie is gearing up to begin filming in April, so by then we should see all villains in costume. As early as now, however, we just might have an idea of what Captain Boomerang could look like when he's all dressed up.
The folks over at Latino Review reported that Boomerang, whose real name is Digger Harkness and who will be played by Jai Courtney, will have the look of a rock star in the Suicide Squad movie. This isn't the usual look for the character, but it could be a decent change.
The publication also claimed that Boomerang will wear his beanie. Fans of the character know that one of the easiest ways to tell Boomerang from a crowd is the beanie he wears on his head. It's one of his trademark looks, along with the trench coat. However, we have no idea if the character will wear his trench coat in the film.
Suicide Squad will begin filming in April of this year and is expected to end production by September. The release date is set for August 2016, five months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Actors - apart from Jai Courtney - who will play a central role in this film include the likes of Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as the Joker, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis is also expected to have an enormous role as Amanda Waller.
Recent rumors claim Warner Bros. is looking into ways to link Suicide Squad with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We've heard that Batman will appear in security footage and that Waller is holding Aquaman's trident hostage.
