If you missed any episode of Star Wars Rebels or have yet to watch a single episode, you are in luck. From today until May 4, the entire first season is free to stream on the official Star Wars website.

Prepare for binge watching! Normally these episodes are only viewable if you have a cable subscription that includes Disney XD. The first season has 13 episodes clocking in at around 23 minutes each. If you've got a free weekend, it won't be too difficult to get all caught up on the new Star Wars tv series.

The show follows one small group of rebels as they stick it to the Empire any way they can on a backwater planet in the Outer Rim called Lothal. Eventually the Empire takes notice, with characters like Grand Moff Tarkin stepping in to eliminate the rebels. A number of familiar faces pop up throughout the season as well, such as Senator Bail Organa and Lando Calrissian. There may even be a Jedi or two. What, you thought they were all extinct?

It's also the perfect way to prepare for the show's second season, which kicks off June 20. The trailers for season two definitely seem to indicate the show will be upping the ante, as Darth Vader becomes directly involved in trying to put a stop to the rebel activity on Lothal. We also know several familiar faces from the Clone Wars TV series will be making appearances next season. We won't spoil anything for you, but if you've already seen season one you can watch the trailer for season two below.

Why is it free for this weekend only? It's all to help celebrate "May the Fourth" a.k.a. Star Wars Day. There are celebrations and sales going on all across the country and on the web, including some great deals on old-school Star Wars games via Steam, GoG.com and the PlayStation Store. If you still need even more Star Wars goodness in your life (and who doesn't?), you can check out our wishlist for Star Wars games EA should bring back after tackling Battlefront.
