T-Mobile has released an internal memo where it is stated that customers can purchase an LG Leon LTE smartphone for only $79.92.

From June 28 to June 30, the smartphone will be available for customers to acquire for the discounted price, compared to the original retail price of $149.

The information was acquired by T-Mobile news website TmoNews, in an internal memo that discussed two promotional offers for T-Mobile subscribers.

Unfortunately, the first offer in the leaked memo has already expired. From June 26 to June 27, customers were offered another chance to acquire the LG G Pad F 8.0 for $0 per month while supplies in stores last.

For the offer related to the LG Leon, the offer lasts from June 28 to June 30. T-Mobile customers can upgrade or activate the smartphone for the price of $79.92 with a postpaid plan that qualifies for the said offer.

The LG Leon smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution and ships with Google's latest mobile operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device also packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the Adreno 306 GPU and a 5MP rear-facing camera, all powered by 1GB of RAM with 8GB of internal memory.

TmoNews also reported that T-Mobile is extending its 2 for $100 and 4 for $100 promotional offers until the middle of next month. The first offer provides unlimited 4G LTE data services to two family members for $100, while the second offer provides 2.5GB worth of data per line for four family members at the same price of $100.

Customers that were able to sign up for the promotional offers before the cutoff date of July 14 will be able to keep the deals even after the expiration date of offering the promotion to subscribers.

The LG Leon smartphone is part of the new line of midrange smartphones that the company unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Spain that was held in March.

"Our newest midrange smartphones are designed with both new and experienced users in mind all over the world who know a good deal when they see one," said LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company CEO and president Juno Cho.

The other handsets introduced in the same line as the LG Leon are the LG Magna, the LG Spirit and the LG Joy.
