In case you ever need to shop for a video gamer who has everything, this special hug pillow featuring game developer Hideo Kojima could provide you with the perfect gift.

Yes, this is really a thing: there are even two pillowcases to choose from for hug pillows that feature Kojima's mug: a simple one with Kojima's profile with stars and one with a close-up of Kojima's face with hearts.

Twitter user Drool Prince brought the pillow to MagFest, a gaming con, where it turned up in various locations, with people taking photos of it and tweeting about it every chance they could get:

Drool Prince also posted several humorous photos with the pillow:

And as previously mentioned, this isn't a custom thing that a random fan made: anyone with around $30 can buy the pillowcases online. If you have plans on toting around a large hug Kojima pillow, here's your chance.

Kojima is now more popular than ever, thanks to his controversial leaving of Konami and the opening of his own gaming studio, which is now working on a big title with Sony.

"I was thinking in my first year out I would make something indie, something small, maybe a game or a movie," said Kojima to Polygon. "But after talking with friends, acquaintances and seeing what fans were saying, I was convinced I should work on a big game, so that possibility was gone."

Kojima has long been a favorite of fans, specifically for his contributions to the Metal Gear franchise of games for Konami. Although he once served as the company's vice president, there was a falling out with Konami last year that resulted in Kojima's departure from that studio that he worked with for over 20 years.

Part of the conflict between Kojima and Konami began when the the company abruptly stopped production on Silent Hills, a highly anticipated horror title directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus. Although the three men may work together again, unfortunately Kojima believes that the time of Silent Hills - and it's playable demo P.T. - has come to an end.
