If you're looking to buy the upcoming Gears of War 4 (GoW 4) title from Microsoft, why not play it using its own customized Xbox controller?

You read that right.

For a limited time, players may opt to get a Gears of War 4 inspired wireless Xbox controller that is up for grabs through Microsoft's related channels, featuring design elements taken directly from the game.

It's not the usual black or white ones shipped by the company, it's fully covered in dark blood-red and comes with the associated game marks as well. Laser-cut claw marks are present on the device with the appropriate grit and grime a player's character experiences throughout the game. Furthermore, it carries the game's emblem, Phoenix Omen, engraved on its bottom with a customized D-pad on the front and metallic red paddles at the back.

Xbox's newest line of Elite Wireless Controllers is specifically made to cater to the needs of a demanding gameplay — much like the ones players will encounter in Gears of War 4. Through interchangeable parts that gamers can utilize to fit their gameplay style, playing a game on the Xbox One console should now be more comfortable and accurate.

"Designed in collaboration with pro-level players, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller unlocks your full potential and adapts to your unique style of play," writes Xbox, adding that players will "experience game-changing accuracy, faster speed, and a tailored feel unlike anything before."

Those who'll be purchasing the Xbox One Elite Controller will receive a box containing the following:

• The base controller — Gears of War 4 Limited Edition;
• A suitably designed GoW 4 case to house the controller and protect it from scratches;
• Four metallic red paddles;
• A set of six thumbsticks that comes in standard, tall and dome shapes;
• Two D-pads: the usual but blood-red colored cross-shaped D-pad and the customized faceted D-pad;
• A custom designed red and black USB cable;
• A set of AA batteries;
• The necessary manuals and guides to set the awesome controller up; and lastly
• A code for three Gear Packs and a downloadable multiplayer lobby emblem to set a player name apart from all others in-game.

The Gears of War 4 Elite Wireless Xbox Controller is available until supplies last for $199 (normal ones are priced at $150) through Xbox and the Microsoft Store.

In addition, players may go all out on their GoW 4-inspired gaming gear by preordering the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition 2 TB Bundle as well, featuring a custom designed Gears of War 4 console and a myriad of exclusive in-game freebies.
