Power Rangers fans will be excited to learn that the superheroes are soon going to make their way not only to a theater, but also to their Android and iOS mobile device.
That's right! A new multiplayer game titled Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is set to be released alongside the movie in March.
The official trailer of the impending game has been released and offers a glimpse into the mobile game.
"A real-time multiplayer fighting game featuring Rangers & villains from Power Rangers history including the feature film. Coming March 2017 on iOS & Android," notes the Power Rangers team on YouTube.
The official teaser for the game was released on Jan. 25 and reveals that Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will feature the popular characters from the cult TV series. Moreover, according to reports, the game will also see characters that are present in the impending Power Rangers flick.
The teaser video shows the Power Rangers and villains fighting each other in the game.
The exact launch date of Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is not known, but fans would be waiting with bated breath for the game's arrival on iOS and Android.
'Power Rangers': What To Expect
"Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will be a game of many firsts for the expansive Power Rangers universe," said Taehoon Kim, CEO of nWay, the developer of the Power Rangers game.
The CEO asserts that nWay has vast experience in developing players-versus-players game networks, which helped it build the synchronous Power Rangers multiplayer action game for fans all over the world.
Janet Hsu, the CEO of Saban Brands, stated that Power Rangers: Legacy Warswill give fans all over the world a gaming experience they have never encountered before with the franchise. Hsu added that the game will be combining the best of the Power Ranger's legacy till now.
'Power Rangers' Reboot
The Power Rangers reboot made a big splash at the New York Comic Con in 2016, where the first trailer was released.
The film is reportedly going to portray the teenage characters going through their own set of high school issues. They put the issues aside and come together to overcome the odds and develop into heroes of the world. The movie will release on March 24.
