The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are among the most leaked smartphones in 2019. Case in point, the latter is the star of yet another set of images that's making the rounds online.

At that, it's safe to say that Google's upcoming Pixels are shaping up to be some of the industry's worst-kept secrets. For the record, even the company itself has already teased a few details here and there, particularly the numerous sensors under the top bezel of the devices.

Pixel 4 XL Photo Shoot

The Verge says that it received 21 alleged photos of the Pixel 4 XL from a Vietnamese store called D Store Mobile. The shop told the news outlet that it wasn't a finalized unit but rather a "test model." It also assured that it isn't fake, but it didn't exactly say how it got its hands on it.

As The Verge points out, these images don't really reveal any new info. That isn't surprising considering that the Google phones have leaked again and again. At any rate, it gives a somewhat closer look at how the white model will turn out to be.

In addition, a few additional details can be gleaned from the pictures, such as a slightly faster aperture from Pixel 3's f/1.8 to f/1.73 and the camera app shooting in 16:9 by default even though the sensor remains at 4:3.

Other Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL Leaks

Recent leaks and rumors about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL point to a feature that allows Google Assistant to take over calls when the user is put on hold. Others say they'll boast a 90 Hz refresh rate called Smooth Display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, and 6 GB of RAM, to name a few.

According to the rumor mill, Google will take the wraps off the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL at an event in October. Some say it's on Oct. 15, but when it comes to these things, it's hard to tell, so it's recommended to take them with the proverbial grain of salt.
