Most watch party or party streaming functions are limited to desktop and computer browsers only, but this time, Amazon makes it available.

New leaks have surfaced and it has been revealed by Amazon themselves, as the Prime Video listing and update version narrates that the company has added a watch party feature for Smart TVs and the like. It seems that its addition to television came first to a watch party function for smartphones and mobile devices for unknown reasons.
Amazon Prime Video would be the first to enable this feature for Smart TV systems, particularly for the Android TVs and Fire TVs, which are mostly used for wide-screen streaming. Amazon's watch parties can invite up to 100 streamers who also use and are subscribed to the Prime Video service to use the features and functions of the mode.

Amazon Prime Video Watch Party for Android Smart TV, Fire TV
According to XDA Developer's discovery on the Amazon Prime Video app update, firmware 3.0.290.9347 is supposedly the one to bring the new watch party feature that may include Android Smart TVs and the Fire TV. While it is not exactly an endorsed or boasted feature of Amazon Prime Video, the update notes detail the latest addition.
XDA notes that this was discovered on the strings of the update, narrating its ability to include Android and Fire TVs to receive and open the watch party link via the Prime Video application. While the way to click a link via social media would prove a hard time for users to perform on television, entering the host code would ensure the connection to the service.
Moreover, Amazon did not announce the latest addition of the feature yet, and for unknown reasons, as they may be the first to include televisions to a watch party that is exclusive even to mobile applications.
How to Create, Host, or Join a Watch Party
Amazon's Prime Video update on the Google Play Store is the source of the application strings that suggests the possibility and availability of the watch party functions on the televisions. However, according to the leaks, it is not yet known whether the function would be fully available or announced by Amazon's Prime Video.
On the other hand, hosting a Watch Party or party streaming film for various users is easy to do, and it begins with ensuring that everyone who would get the code to have an active subscription to Prime Video. Next, users would need to select a film and click the people icon near its descriptions or title.
The host would have a code that can be distributed as alphanumeric characters or a hyperlink.
