Gamora 'Fortnite' Skin | Take a First Look at the Green Warrior from Guardians of the Galaxy

The Gamora "Fortnite" skin is coming as the Marvel character from Guardians of the Galaxy is the latest addition to the game! While DC has been growing inside the "Fortnite" universe, "Marvel" has also been doing the same!

According to PC Gamer, the last time fans saw Gamora was in Avengers: Infinity War as well as Endgame. Gamora was sacrificed in order for Thanos to get the Soul Stone and her past self was able to catch up and return in Endgame.

Gamora 'Fortnite' Skin Release Date

Gamora is hitting the beloved battle royale "Fortnite" item shop this August 14 at 8PM ET. Quite humorously enough, she's actually the third ever Guardian of the Galaxy to make their way to "Fortnite." This is following the Chapter 2 Season 4's addition of Groot and even the Chapter 1 Season 8's addition of Star-Lord a long time ago.

First Look at the Gamora 'Fortnite' Skin

Gamora is pretty much decked out in a white suit which is a frequent outfit more seen in the comics. Her cosmetics also include an additional gray cloak back bling, the "godslayer" pickaxe sword, and of course, for style, the "godslayer" glideboard.

Fans will be able to recognize that as the iconic collapsible sword that Gamora wields in the other Guardians films. Basically imagine Soul Calibur's Ivy. However, imagine the character being dressed like a more sensible person.

Gamora 'Fortnite" Skin Price

As of the moment, there is still no official announcement regarding exactly how many V-bucks will Gamora cost. However, odds are that Epic will actually sell both the skin alone as well as another bundle that includes the other cosmetic items.

Gamers can expect the skin to land around somewhere between maybe 1,200 to 2,000 V-bucks. The bundle, however, might be priced higher at 2,000 to 2,500 V-bucks. These are only estimates and the real price will be revealed soon.

Get Early Access to Gamora 'Fortnite' Skin

Epic always holds some type of special competition for players in order for them to compete for certain advantages like early access to skins. The Gamora Cup event will happen on August 11.

Regarding the official rules, The Gamora Cup event will be a duos cup so players need to check the cup out with a friend. Players will have about three hours for them to earn as many points as they can stretched throughout 10 matches.

Every region's top performing team will be able to earn the whole Gamora skin as well as back bling. Anyone that was able to score at least 8 points will then earn the "Daughter of Thanos" spray. Other exciting characters that were leaked are Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and even the beloved anime character Naruto!
