According to Comic Book Gaming, a Peripatetic Researcher that was also chosen to play as a rebel in a new game leaked the game's development in public. The game is "Mad Max 2," and it brings the popular game franchise back into development for the people, with a slightly increased chance of having a confirmed release.

The researcher and actress, Wendy Fok, revealed on Twitter that she got an invitation from game producers and the studio itself, Avalanche Studios, in New York for the 3D Scanning. Her image in 3D will be for the game's additional characters, to which Fok shared she will be starring in, playing an unknown role in the game.

It could be that Fok is a Non-Player Character or someone that will play a pivotal role in the game.

Avalanche Studios, Warner Bros. Working on the Game in Secret?

Avalanche Studios and the rights owner of the franchise, Warner Bros., have yet to announce the game or develop it online. The game also lived on as a secret for its development for the longest time already, without any hints of its creation until Foks revealed her role.

Nevertheless, Warner and Avalanche may keep it a secret until it releases a teaser or trailer, but there is nothing from the company despite this leak.

"Mad Max" saw a release for the game last September 2015, and despite its early success and massive fanbase on the popular media franchise, it did not know a sequel developing in the succeeding years. The game brought an immense action-adventure experience that focuses on playing as "Max," the famed driver that has an appetite for adrenaline.

The "Wasteland" waits for no one and devours those that cannot go as fast or as "Mad" as its fictional protagonist "Max." The game became an instant hit when released more than seven years ago, continuing the franchise from the early 80s with Mel Gibson playing the titular hero that became a name that many feared and despised.

Now, the game focuses on continuing the story of Mad Max, with a rumored sequel coming soon, despite the studios being silent about it. Also, this is a sign that the franchise lives on and did not end its production with the 2015 film and the remake movie "Mad Max: Fury Road," released in the same year.

"Mad Max 2" remains unconfirmed and is mainly a rumor or leak from the actress.
