Google accidentally leaked some information about its upcoming smartphones Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the leaked devices were seen to be connected to cstark27 who unveiled some interesting code names for these flagship phones. The company disclosed some details for these gadgets in the Android 13 code.

Revealed Codenames For Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro

In another report from Forbes, the two leaked Google devices have respective codenames while it's under development. The Pixel 7 has a nickname dubbed "Cheetah" while its Pro counterpart is named "Panther."

Google also did these in its previous devices. Specifically, it also gave codenames to the current Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. The first one adopted Oriole as a nickname while the latter was previously called Raven.

As we can see, every Pixel name is connected to animals. In the same article, it was also mentioned that the tech titan will now change codename categories for every new Pixel model because the older versions were named after sea life.

As of press time, the only information that we hold about this second-generation upgrade is its internal codename "Cloudripper."

Speaking of Android 13, the next-gen chip will also be paired with the g5300b modem of Samsung. Although the South Korean giant has not yet unveiled it, it's promising to know what it can offer for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones.

Since Google has "accidentally" leaked its future Pixel smartphones, we might already see the new under-screen front-facing camera in them based on the patent back in May 2021.

Earlier this year, Tech Times reported that the new Android version will feature QR code scanning, media playback handoff, and more upgrades.
