Dodge is planning something big for its famous muscle cars, the Charger and the Challenger, as the company is transitioning these to electric vehicles by 2024. But before that, Dodge is focusing on a "Last Call" that would bring the final iterations of the two classic cars with its internal combustion engines, particularly its V6 or V8 engines.

The Dodge Speed Week Day 1 revealed that the company is focusing on its transition to clean energy cars in the coming two years for the company, with its last ICE cars coming in 2023.

There already is a Day 3 live stream for the company that talks about the "Next Gen Muscle" that the public expects to be the new Chargers and Challengers to reveal from the company. Dodge Brings a 'Last Call' on Muscle ICEs for 2023

According to Stellantis' press release, a "Last Call" is released for next year, 2023, focusing on the end of the line for internal combustion V-powered engines for the Charger and Challenger coming for all. It will feature a massive lineup with seven models, focusing on heritage colors coming to the public that will bring the last of the muscle cars that have V-powered engines.

Dodge said that the Last Call vehicles will all arrive in dealerships for the public to correctly identify them and have their choice of the upcoming lineup for next year.

Dodge and Stellantis' EV Focus

Stellantis is one of the significant car companies that are focusing on the swap to electric vehicles for its lineup, taking a page from previous companies that offer ICEs to power their cars. It supports the Biden electrification plan for 2030, a timeline that aims to transform the car industry to focus on clean energy mobility for the future.

EVs are the way to go, and it is something that the world already sees as a massive chance to change current practices that harm the environment.

There are previous teasers as to what the electric muscle cars will bring to the public, and it aims to focus on providing the world with much to experience with the clean energy vehicle. Dodge is one to focus on bringing their famous muscle cars as EVs, something which Ford did not take with its Mustang Mach-E that presented a new body.

Now, it is official and Dodge will soon let go of its V-engines for more economical and environment-friendly drivetrains and batteries to power one of the most iconic muscle cars in the world. The Charger and Challenger truly are legacies that helped in shaping the automotive industry, with the muscle cars that brought people a taste of adrenaline and speed.
