Have you ever tried searching Google for answers to your homework, and more specifically, math and science problems? Back in the day, this was a hard feat, as Google would only lead users to websites or tutorials on YouTube-but in their latest update, you may now use Search to help you with your math homework directly, centering on Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Physics.

Google Search has been a companion for homework and learning for a long time, but thanks to its latest developments and AI, it got better.

Google's most recent blog post detailed the latest update to its Search feature where it is now better at solving math and science problems directly, and yes, it will now give them solutions and answers. Instead of leading users to websites and YouTube tutorial videos, Google's Search will give them the answer they are looking for, when inputted on the platform's search bar.

The internet company also recommends using its "math solver" feature which could be accessed by typing it in on the Search bar.

"Simply type your equation or integral into the Search bar, or take a picture with Lens, to see a step-by-step explanation and solution," said Google.

Through Search and Lens, users may solve problems centering on geometry, trigonometry, physics, and calculus, with its equation available for every prompt. This is thanks to its latest development and LLM.

Google Search and Lens are both capable of giving users answers to solve their problems, with Search being the more manual procedure in searching for answers, and Lens helping simplify the experience using the camera.

Google's Search and AI Features that Help

This year, Google's top priority is the Generative AI feature, and through this, the company expanded more of its Search feature, centering on integrating more of the machine into its services. Earlier this year, Google expanded its generative AI search for teens to use, and it was deemed by the company to be safe for those from 13 to 17 years of age to interact with.

The massive focus on AI did not stop there, as Google integrated generative AI features directly into Search, and it centers on image creation where users could create content directly on the search bar. The company advises users to enter their prompt for the AI to make, and hitting enter would automatically give them what they need, courtesy of Bard and its LLM for all.

Google's Search and AI are expanding more in giving what users need and want for their use of the company's products, and apart from generative AI, it can also help in solving their problems in school. Fields such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and physics are all available for the Search and Lens to solve directly, not leading users to other websites or YouTube videos unlike before.
