The leader of the AI industry now is Big Tech, with Google delivering some of the top technologies available in the world powered by machine learning, but there will be a shift in its workplace soon, one that will replace humans in their jobs. In the latest report, it was claimed that Google is already considering giving AI a load from the daily work within the company, which means employing it instead of humans. 

Fears regarding AI first centered on replacing humans in their jobs, but it was previously said that this is far from happening in the present.

The Information reported a massive focus on Google in the future, which centers on AI replacing human jobs within the company, particularly with the recent tools it released. The advancements the company debuted to the world are also the main reason for this shift towards employing AI instead of their human counterparts, despite the people being there first.

It could go in two ways, particularly regarding AI's shift towards taking over the jobs, as it was said that Google might reassign these affected jobs or face the boot entirely from the company.

The world widely regards Googlers as the best among the rest, handpicked by the company's different divisions to work for them, having an intricate deliberation before getting the job. It only shows how much power and potential its AI has to consider replacing them with AI.

What Jobs Will AI Replace for Humans in Google?

In the report, the jobs AI will replace within Google are part of its sales teams, alongside the advertisement division, which claimed to have as many as 30,000 Googlers. These new AI tools focus on the next-gen AI ads from the company, looking to enhance advertiser experiences with AI-designed assets for campaigns, as requested by the clients (advertisers).

AI Fears: Replacing Human Jobs

Since the emergence of AI, one of the top fears apart from massive data and information access is that technology will replace humans in their jobs, especially in this digital world. 

However, several studies have claimed that it is unlikely to do so, with the United Nations' International Labour Organization (ILO) saying that it would focus on making tasks easier rather than being the reason for losing employment.

The fear of getting laid off and being told that AI is replacing their role in the company is still a thought that some cannot get out of their heads, especially as it is a massive industry now, with iconic improvements arriving each day. An expert previously claimed that with its traction now, artificial intelligence could effectively take over 80 percent of human jobs in the future. Still, it is not necessarily a bad thing, says the author. 

Varying claims were made regarding AI taking over human jobs in the many industries present, but while many deny it, there are still beliefs that it is coming, and it is only a matter of when this would occur. 

This new report shows a development behind Google's plans to replace its human workforce with AI, focusing on its sales and ads divisions where the take-over will happen, with the employees either reassigned or terminated as new tools arrive.
