A date has been set, May 19, for Reef to open and the Fallen to fall deeper in Destiny's "House of Wolves" expansion. Raids have been fixed in the latest patch, but new ones won't appear in the upcoming expansion.

Bungie has set up a calendar of events to lay out the final legs of the road to the "House of Wolves."

"The Reef will open to all Guardians, and you will join the allies of the Queen to destroy the traitorous Fallen from the House of Wolves," said Bungie.

There will be a walking tour of The Reef on April 22, a live gameplay of Trials of Osiris on April 29, live gameplay of battle arena Prison of Elders on May 6 and an unspecified event on May 8. With all of the new content, even end-game gear, being revealed along the way to the next expansion, Bungie squashed the raid rumors in its latest blog post.

"Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year," Bungie said. "House of Wolves will have a new cooperative end game activity focused on variety, replayability, and skill - a new battle Arena called The Prison of Elders."

While the "House of Wolves" expansion is still about a month away, the long-awaited Update 1.1.2 goes live today. Here's a recap of what's coming through the pipeline with Destiny's latest update:

Raid Fixes: There are times when Atheon and Crota can be uncooperative, so we're tackling their worst bugs.

  • Audio and Visual: Not everyone wants to see or hear a game the same way, which is why we're looking into providing more options.
  • PVP Ammunition: The Crucible team wants to change the way ammo crates dictate the flow of a battle.
  • Strikes: The numbers tell us that there are some missions that are successfully completed far less than others, inspiring us to look at why people quit.

On May 19, the "House of Wolves" expansion goes live for all players on last and current gen consoles. The expansion is rumored to be raising the level cap when it arrives and the Reef is expected to serve as a new social hub.
