Adam Jensen has gotten some upgrades.
In next year's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, two years have passed since the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. While prior trailers have focused on how the world has changed in those two years — and it has changed drastically — the latest shows how Adam Jensen himself has evolved.
Put simply, Jensen has become even more of a living weapon than he was before. In the interim, he's had upgrades installed that include a new "Titan" nanoshield, a Tesla shooter that blasts enemies with electricity, an upgrade that allows him to launch the Nanoblades on his arms and his PEPS gun, which is now part of his body instead of a separate weapon.
This two-minute trailer provides more than just glimpses of Jensen's new tech, though. You'll also get snippets of his story arc, which appears to include working with some kind of military unit. Said unit is already prejudiced against him for being augmented, but as you'd expect, Jensen's not terribly interested in calming their fears.
Take a look.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on Feb. 23, 2016.
