The latest Season 6 of "Black Mirror" has been one of its most interesting releases, and one of its best gags here is creating a parodical Netflix streaming platform called "Streamberry" which attacked the company in the most comical way. However, it is all fun and jokes for Netflix as it legitimized Streamberry for the public to access with two new websites.

Are you ready to consent your data and sign up for Streamberry?

Netflix Launches 'Streamberry' Websites from Black Mirror

Season 6 Episode 1 is one of the top-rated bits of the famous anthology series, with "Joan is Awful" making massive waves on the internet. Netflix did not let this hype die down, as the company launched two websites that bring its messed up sister to the public, with one being the previously-fictional Streamberry.

Streamberry.tv is now a real thing, and here, users can make themselves the center of the invasive, overt dramatization reality show. As what Black Mirror's Joan is Awful taught us, anyone can be awful using the "quamputer" developed in the story.

However, in this real-world version of Streamberry, users may subject themselves to be the "awful" one and be the star of the messed up reality show by uploading their portraits for the website to use.

Exploring the other features of the Streamberry platform would bring users to a familiar interface to Netflix, with each show hyperlinked to their corresponding Black Mirror episodes from various seasons including "The National Anthem," "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch," "Striking Vipers," "San Junipero," and more.

The Netflix parody also links to other shows on the legit streaming platform including "Death to 2020" and Netflix Interactive's "Cat Burglar."

Streamberry's You Are Awful: Would You Sign Up?

The famed Streamberry, as Joan learned painstakingly, asks users to consent to its watertight Terms and Conditions, and this did not end well for Anne Murphy, Salma Hayek, and the legit Joan from the episode.

Now, Netflix, err, Streamberry, is asking users to "Join" the streaming website, provide their name, and upload a photo of themselves to turn into a "Joan is Awful" style billboard.

It is unknown if the website also collects data to freak out those who have signed up, like what Episode 1 did, or is simply another marketing campaign from Netflix for Black Mirror's Season 6.

Netflix's Black Mirror

For all the tech-gone-wrong happenings in the world, they have associated it with the British dystopian and tech-ridden depictions of Black Mirror, especially as to how eerily realistic it is. What the showrunners give the public is dangerously close to reality, with some looking at the possibility of its future applications in the real world.

Even Elon Musk's Neuralink and its brain implants were regarded to be something from a Black Mirror episode, with yet unknown effects on humans and the future.

Netflix's transformation into Streamberry and legitimizing what the show depicted is one way to hook the audience to the Black Mirror craze, giving yet another close-to-reality experience for fans via the websites.
