Sony makes Microsoft eat dust: 5.3 million PS4 consoles sold versus 3.6 million Xbox One consoles sold

Sony is on a roll. The company has managed to sell over 5.3 million PlayStation 4 (PS4) copies ever since the console launched in November last year. Out of all the next generation video games consoles launched since 2012 up to this point, the PlayStation 4 is the fastest selling console and is on track to surpass 10 million units by the end of 2014 if things continue the way they are.
